How do I change my voice in a browser call?

1. 1Open the side panel on your calling site and switch on voice.
2. 2Pick a voice. The ▶ button plays a sample of each.
3. 3Press Test voice to hear yourself converted before anyone else does. Put headphones on first — without them your speakers feed straight back into your microphone.
4. 4Tick the consent box, then press Start.
5. 5Join the call, reloading the tab first if it was already open.

The voice settings section shows which microphone is in use and offers tuning sliders, already set somewhere sensible. Change one thing, press Test voice, listen. Changing four at once and disliking the result tells you nothing about which one did it.

• Voice minutes are counted separately from face minutes, and a plan may include one without the other.
