How do I make a photo talk? (Avatar)
One portrait and a script become a video of that person speaking — no camera involved.

Avatar takes a still photo and a script, and gives you back a video of that face saying it. Useful for an explainer, an intro or a voiceover when filming isn't practical.
Making one
Getting one that doesn't feel odd
- Skip sunglasses, hats and heavy filters. Whatever's in the photo is in the video.
- Match the voice to the face. An accent or an apparent age that doesn't fit is the thing viewers notice, even when they can't say why.
- Keep scripts under about 1,500 words. Longer than that and the pacing starts to flatten.
