The call still shows my real camera

The extension replaces the camera at the moment the call page asks for it. So if the page asked first, it's already holding your real camera and nothing you do in the panel will change what it has.

1. 1Reload the call tab. This is the fix, most of the time. Refresh, rejoin, done.
2. 2Next time, press Start before you join. Session first, call second.
3. 3Check the session is actually running. The panel should be showing Stop and a running timer — not Start.
4. 4Check the site is one we cover — Google Meet, WhatsApp Web, Telegram Web, Zoom on the web, Discord, Microsoft Teams on the web. Elsewhere the extension deliberately does nothing.
5. 5Look at the call app's own camera setting. Some remember a specific device. Choose your normal built-in camera there — the extension replaces whatever it's handed.
6. 6Toggle your camera off and on inside the call. That makes the page ask for it again, which is the whole point.
7. 7Just updated the extension? Give it a reload from chrome://extensions before you refresh the call.

If the panel shows an error rather than a timer, the cause is one of these two instead: Start unavailable or camera and microphone blocked.
